Functional masterbatches
Modifying polymers through the use of additives makes it possible to create specialized blends and individualized plastics with improved processability, appearance and properties. Granula Group custom formulates functional additive masterbatches with specific performance properties to meet our customers’ every application requirement.
Our masterbatch formulas are designed to optimize processing and to protect polymers against the harmful effects of UV light, oxidative deterioration and high temperatures. Our tailor-made Granula® additive systems are designed to prevent the discoloration and loss of mechanical and physical properties resulting from such degradation, providing added value both during processing and throughout the lifetime of the product. We also produce combination masterbatches featuring pigments and additives, processing aids or antioxidants, which are specifically engineered for temperature or abrasion sensitive polymer mixtures.
