The new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) has introduced binding requirements for the sustainability, recyclability and compliance of packaging as of 12 August 2026. PPWR compliance transparently documented

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), Regulation (EU) 2025/40, defines requirements for packaging throughout its entire life cycle. These include, among other things, requirements for packaging materials, recyclability, the use of recycled materials, as well as technical documentation and proof of compliance.

For manufacturers and processors of packaging, reliable information on the raw materials and materials used is therefore an important part of PPWR compliance. Granula provides the relevant information and the EU Declaration of Conformity digaitally.

The documentation supports customers in assessing the compliance of their packaging solutions in a transparent and traceable manner and in compiling the required evidence for their technical documentation.
